TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, GTEC – Scoring Secrets Revealed.      Corpus analysis of TOEFL, TOEIC, GTEC, and IELTS tests reveals that 1/3 of the words occurring in all parts of these tests are not commonly used in authentic general English. Students who study with traditional materials are not likely to develop recognition and fluency for 1/3 of the words that commonly occur on these tests. For example words such as: aboard, absent, gallon, and garbage are lower-frequency words in authentic general English whereas they are high-frequency words on TOEFL. Come find out how you can help students quickly learn and retain comprehension of all of the most important vocabulary for TOEIC, TOEFL, GTEC, and IELTS.
